Wind power

Towers of wind turbines are often made of concrete. A sophisticated tensioning process ensures the stability of the huge structures. Steel cables made of high-strength wires are led from the top to the bottom of the tower, fastened with anchor plates at the ends and then put under tension. The components installed here must withstand the highest mechanical and climatic loads.

In addition to custom-made anchor plates, we also supply the highly stressed anchor basket segments (ring segments) on which the tower is attached.
